Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel is a Oriental Floral fragrance for women. This perfume is the winner of award Fi Fi Award Best National Advertising Campaign / TV 2008.(16 year old male) Holy hell! To me, it smells like flowers lightly dipped in sweet, fruity oils.
Top notes are orange, mandarin orange, orange blossom and bergamot; middle notes are mimosa, jasmine, turkish rose and ylang-ylang; base notes are tonka bean, patchouli, opoponax, vanilla, vetiver and white musk. Whenever I get a whiff of this perfume, I get sent to a place where I am with a person that I love. It would be hard to find a man that does not like this perfume.
I didn't try Coco Mad at the store, but the lady was a true gem and decanted three (3! One was Coco Mad EDP, which I tried last night and this morning. It stands up extremely well against the sea of vanilla that characterizes modern mass fragrance. I loved it at the time, before I was a bit more versed in fragrance. Coco Mademoiselle is like EDM music, and the statement ones such as Youth Dew, Shalimar, Opium, Cinnabar and Coco are like classic rock. It's well constructed, and it has amazing longevity. Maybe it's the generous citrus in the formula, maybe it's my taste.I can't pinpoint what it is, but it's just too teeny-bopperish, and conjures up the mall in my head.I use also one nice chypre cream before I spray the perfume.melange fits perfectly together :) Enjoy this luxurious fragrance...:) with a good amount:) A beautiful rosy musky scent that smells expensive!I have the Allure Eau de Parfum and to me, Coco Mademoiselle is like the sexy, confident big sister as the Allure is the more demure, sophisticated little sister. On me, the scent gives off the patchouli note mixed beautifully with the floral notes with a hint of the vanilla and orange that enhances the floral scent.
